Hey ladies! I know that a lot of posters on this board are past their twenties - but I get the impression that most of them are male. So I was wondering about the girls in this country, especially those who have been here for a while - how old are you? I was thinking that maybe I could stay in Korea for a very long time, but I really haven't come across many women in their thirties or forties here, aside from those that married a Korean.
So, married or not, been here forever or just arrived - could we get a quick survey of the female posters on this board? |

| 25 in real terms. But have the cynicism of a 40 year old. |

34 in Korea (33 everywhere else).
But I've been here since 96 (most of the time) and I did NOT marry a Korean. I actually know quite a few women who've been here 5 years or so, and aren't married to Korean guys. It's not a necessity for liking the country. |

I'm not sure which poll option I should choose. The 30 that goes with the 25 or the 30 that goes with the 35. I don't particularly want to be any younger, but I also don't want to be any older.
Regardless, I'm 30, have been here since i was 22, and am not married to a Korean or a foreigner. |

I have no intentions of being married before i'm thirty....so living here works for me in that sense.....there's lots of non-commital GI's here to hang out with.....thank god for the GI's.....with out em i would never consider comming back.....well...dating scene wise....
On another note, I turned 27 on monday...and a little girl at the resturant asked me if i was an ahjuma....it was a funny birthday moment cuz I look 17....
When I arrived here, I found a new security in being single. If anything Korea has helped me to get over that "I need a realtionship" phase.
Maybe if I was younger i'd be marryin a GI......but.......i'm not..... |

It's a secret... and I just skewed the results of your poll; consequently, "The results of this poll a accurate 0 out of 100 times."
Please vote. Each vote counts!... oh forget it - I'm not a lady.
Very lucky to live in the free world... as an economic slave.
