My iPod is dead and I can't charge it!

I found one of those cheap plastic power adapters that goes North America style into Korean style, but I dare not use it on the iPod and risk blowing it up. Where can I find an adapter that CONVERTS the voltage to the Korean level?

Or if you have some other strategy for charging your iPod, let me know. I know I can plug it into a computer using the USB cord, but I don't have a computer and I don't plan to sit around at the pc bang for 8 hours.

Thanks!

The ipod charger should handle Korean voltages fine, no? What does it say on the label?

The ipod charger IS a power converter. Smile

You just need to check what its voltage/frequency input range is. Should be something like 110-250V, 50-60Hz in which case you'd be fine with the plastic pin converter.

You can buy the ipod usb adapter

The plug actually snaps off so

then you can buy the USB world power adapter kit

It's kinda cool because the end snaps off and you can add a different plug to any country in the world, Japan, China, US, Europe...

Both together are a bit pricey. I recommend you just plug your ipod into the USB port and it will charge. You can get a cheaper one in Yongsan, the brand is Mackey or something.
