I'm living in Okdong, an area of Andong...working in a very nice, small hagwon. I have been here three weeks. Is anyone else in the same area? Would love to meet fellow foreign freaks to hang out with. My fellow teachers are all Korean and have families, so they don't go out! Anyway, any takers? |

the real fun in andong is in shin-ae (downtown).
good pubs - wa bar, the spokan bar, and there's a traditional korean restaurant/bar with kimchi pancakes and dongdong ju somewhere near the red light district.
steer the *beep* clear of REI andong and mr. monster, however. that guy is shit on a stick. |

I've lived in Andong over a year. Downtown is the place to be, however finding regulars can be a bit of a challange at times. If you want to get in contact my email is [email protected] . Always on the look out for new friends in small towns. |
