Are there any in Seoul? How about Fishing tours? Would my best bet be incheon?

| I know some of the big hotels in Jeju do sea fishing trips as part of packages. I have never been on one though. |

How about a place to buy fishing gear? Maybe some directions to a good place or two near seoul to drop a line?
Also do they mind if we use a three quarter stick of dynamite for a lure? I find it is a good converstation starter, and ender. |

I was thinking of setting up a booth in a fishing convention. Do they have them here in Korea?

| fiveeagles do you know anything about fishing in Korea? I would like to get out on occasion. Not a total maniac, but it would be nice to get out of the hue and cry of Seoul for a change, and honestly I hate hiking. Something about getting my knees turned into pieces of tofu playing rugby in university will do that for a fellow. |

I'd also be interested. I was an avid fly fisherman in my previous life. I made it out one time last year, but my Korean fishing buddy skipped back to Canada to live and do some real fishing.
Ive always been interested in hunting some of thos Snakehead fish.... merely because of their freakish appearence and crazy aggressiveness.
I even hear dthat you need reverse pliars to pry the mouth open to get your hook back.

I did alot of spear fishing on Jeju and found a nice spot. Two of us caught 20 in 2 or 3 hours. Either they were flounders or halibut, but very nice white meat. I covered most of the island and only found one good spot.
Fishing was dismal from shore, but fishing from the boat is supposedly better.
I just moved to the Seoul area so I am just in a fact finding process. |
