ok all you on here to spread the Word of God and sit all the heathens right, I have a question. First, how many times have you read your Bible cover to cover?

You come on here, more with condemnation than you do with preaching the "Good New". You see the Gospels mean "The Good News". And if you really want to convert the heathen you may start with yourselves. Start by loving the brethen as Jesus loved the church and then the world will know that you are His disciples.

This stuff you are bringing on here has nothing to do with reaching people through relationship? You are doing it to appease some religious duty within yourselves, at least that is my guess.

How many years have you been truly serving Christ? Have you loved the unlovable? Have you healed the sick? Have you helped the homeless? Not by sending money to World Vision, but by inviting them into your home???

The world does not need to see anymore judgement and condemnation from the church! The world needs to see a dynamic and loving church.

What do I mean? I mean this:

According to scripture, if Jesus walked the streets of Itaewan on a late Saturday night, the bargirls and us heathen would immediately recognize who He was. We would sense His diviness and His love. The prostitutes of the NT times went up to Him and were at His feet. He said that they were closer to the Kingdom of God than were the Pharisees (Bible Thumpers who parade their fire and brimstone message, but not the love, compassion and acceptance that Jesus paraded around the tax collectors and prostitutes. The Jesus of the NT had the prostitutes and tax collectors come into the presence of absolute purity and love without any condemnation. They were drawn toward Him

Hey, if you all went to Itaewan tonight with your message of judgement and condemnation, do you think they would flock toward you? I think not. They were run away.

We all have had enough condemnation, we all know what that is. We have heard the fire and brimstone from the likes of Jimmy Swaggart. What we are still waiting to see is the authenticity of the Gospel displayed by His church???

If you took the time to spend with people and had a relationship and they were able to see that authenticity in your life, they may inquire and want to be a part of what you claim tom believe.

Basically the question is "Where is the beef"! Do not expect anyone to come crawling at your judgmental and condemmning words and warnings. You are not Jonathan Edwards.

You are probably doing more harm for your cause than good.

My suggestion is to go to India or somewhere, get dirty, smell the stench and be a servant of God. You probablt do not know what I am saying.

But I will ask you one question. Are you doing this for your own supposed spiritual benefit, or do you really love the people on the board with the same love that Jesus asks of His true disciples.

Also, I am sooooo tired of hearing about God's judgement on the Gulf Coast of the US. The fact that some supposed church leaders have made this proclamation means they do not understand Luke 13:4

You all can take your condemnation and judgements and show me where in thre NT God told you to spread that rather than his "Good News" By the way I am ready for your arguments. I read the book a few times and more importantly I have got dirty and I have smelled the stench (not that you would understand that). This I promise you- you aint getting people closer to a desired place in God by presenting judgement and condemntion. You are not John the Baptist or Jonathan Edwards. I say this because I have not discerned a true concern or Christlike love in your presentations on this board.

sorry, I have had a few pints of that evil stuff called beer.

Re. the jesus-freaks:

They may all think works of fiction are real, but they're no more annoying, obnoxious, and belligerant than anyone else around here.

I agree. Jesus is the greatest example.

They probably wouldn't understand us. If i could speak in Korean, I don't know? In Vancouver, when we used to go on the streets we would have many different types of reception. Some hated us, some loved us, others couldn't care less, others were healed, some converted, many fed....etc...etc.

I could go on with your post, but hey, I'm not perfect. Never said i was. However, you don't know me or probably anyone else do you? Then you are probably making a lot of assumptions, eh? Probably not a good idea.
You probably don't know if I have been to India or not, right?

Wink

Unless you understand the intricacies of karma and transmigration of the soul (edited out of the Bible for political reasons...) you don't really know that any babies and other apparently innocent people who undergo great misfortune and suffering are really "innocent" or not...(While in our mother's womb we can remember a number of our past lives - but birth is so traumatic that we forget...)

How does something with a limited brain cells through most of it's development, like a fetus, pull this trick off?
