Do you mean Gulf of America?
Wait.
Don't the people from Florida call it the West Gulf?

as the united states of america actually accomplished something in its measley 200-ish years of existance, i dont think they need to bother with such retarded antics, as does South Korea....at least I have never heard it called the West Gulf and I am from Florida. Perhaps special interest groups or a very loud tiny majority do...but nothing as widespread and hysteric as The East Sea Craze.

Texas Koreans Safe as Rita Weakens to Tropical Storm
Houston, Beaumont and Lake Charles are home to some 30,000 Koreans. Houston, where most of them live, escaped the storm completely, while most of the 600 or so Koreans who lived in Galveston, Beaumont, Lake Charles and Lafayette reportedly evacuated to the homes of relatives in inland areas like Austin, Dallas and San Antonio. "some 30,000 Koreans"
Are they Koreans, Korean-Americans, or Americans?
