If you want to be heard - speak up.
If you want to be seen - stand up.
If you want to be respected - shut up.

There are flights daily to their beloved Asia, where, I am sure, their feminism will be greatly appreciated.

Do these girls understand that the geisha girl tradition predates contact with the West? Appearently they don't understand Asian culture as well as they would have us believe.

I think the average dumb-bum here on Dave's knows more about Asia than those two do. I wouldn't waste my time to sit down and chat with em.

I dunno, if you grew up under her circumstances, you might have gone through a long ride to find your identity. White folk back home can be pretty harsh on Asians without realizing it.

We had some Chinese students in our classes when I was young. I can't help remember the fact that people had a real hard time addressing them without mentioning their ethnicity or worse yet, making some lame and uneducated remark.

At their age though, the "poetry" does seem a bit overboard...

This was my favorite part of that interview.

"Have you been to Korea?
I have not been Korea since I left as a baby."

Later she talks about wanting to date a full asian man. But,

"Reality is that people are individuals, and not everyone is going to click just because they're the same race. "

Just because they are the same race. Now, lets play with this shall we? She is insinuating that there are inherent differences between the races that will influence personality. Which I suppose may be true. Who knows.

What I find funny is that she leaves out white dudes as a possible mate.

I wonder what would be the reaction, if on a public forum or E-newsletter, I (as a white dude) suggested that race has an impact on personality and that I wouldn't want to date an Asian woman. I think a few connections might be made and the hidden racism exposed.

Then again, she is half-korean.(kidding Confused )

Anyhow, she is the prototypical example of the modern Western woman (or metro-sexual man). She has totally bought into cultural Marxism and her "identity" as being blissfully different from everyone else, in a uniquely special way. She honestly believe that she IS a unique and special snowflake. And that there might be people who care about her "struggles" being half asian.

Well I don't.

Whadda tool.
