hey,

i'm becoming friends with my neighbors... but they speak zero english. the most i've got from the ajumma is "wi-puh?" when she's pointing at my girlfriend...

anyways - they have this cute little jindo pup that they take pretty good care of - but like many korean dogs, it gets little real exercise. i want to be a good neighbor and offer to walk it now and then. i think they'd be receptive, but i can't for the life of me vocalize it with the limited korean i have.

so - can someone with skills translate this, please?

"would it be okay if i walked your dog occasionally?"

or something that would just let them know that my intentions were honorable and i wasn't gonna cook the little gaffer and eat him. hangeul is okay - i can read korean, i just have not had time to process even the most basic of grammar rules.

thanks.

juh gee, gae jom san check shi kyuh do dwehl gga yo?

juh gee - excuse me

gae - dog

jom - some

san check - walk

shi kyuh - provide

dwehl gga yo - is it ok?

This should be accurate for the most part, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

Since you can read Korean, it might be better if we fully translate what you want to say and ask ",  ų åϷ ͵ ɱ?" I'm sure I made some mistakes, but I think they'll get the picture. Good luck

Try this:

  ϴµ åѵ ˴ϱ?

It means, "I love animals, is it OK if I take your puppy for a walk?"

It's short, sweet, and makes your intentions crystal clear.

I think it's great that you want to do that. Let us know how it works out!
