Was hoping to find a place to watch the match but the plan fell through. I've resorted to the Guardian minute-by-minute report on the laptop. It's not that bad actually. Looks like it will be 1-0 England.
What were your thoughts on the match?
[edit] So 1-0 England it is. They will qualify automatically if the Dutch beat the Czechs tonight.
[edit] Thanks to the Dutch, England qualify at last.
Are you optimistic about England's chances?

The 'performance' was awful...
A very harsh red card though for Beckham
Struggling for coverage of the match? Next time try BBC sports section, they have live coverage of all england games on the net

Bo, it was live on MBC ESPN, and will be repeated today (Sunday) at 2pm.
Holland - in beating the Czechs 2-0 - do us the favour of rendering Wednesday night's Poland game meaningless. They'll be showing that one live too, on Thursday at 3:30 in the morning. With qualification assured though, I don't think it's worth staying (or getting) up for.
Congratulations England! And well done Holland! |
