Anybody out there living in any of the abovementioned places or their environs.
The "Too Cool to say Hello to Other Foreigners" thread has people who see 50 or 100 foreigners a day. I haven't seen one around here in nearly two months. Who's here now? Sign in, please..... |

I just left Jeomchon for Busan a couple of months ago. I saw foreigners about once every two months. (That's counting the mysterious crowd of military-looking fellas who occasionally materialized in front of Jeomchon Station to punch the punch-bag. ) Apparently there are some foreigners in town, though... maybe four or five. There's a Jeomchon thread around here somewhere in which various of us signed in, although we never got around to actually meeting each other (at least I didn't).
Hope you enjoy the place. Beats the heck out of big-city life, IMO. Which of the above-mentioned three towns are you in, anyway? |

Hmmm, never saw the military dudes. Yeh, I live in Jeomchon. Did your school hire a foreign replacement for you, I wonder....... |

Don't live there personally, but spend loads of time in the area (good mountains) and I know a few foreigners there and have seen a few more. Mind you all the peeps I know there don't seem to have that much to do with each other. Mostly weekend socialisers and go to bigger towns like Daegu or Andong. |
