Hi guys,

I'm 6months into my time here now and i'm definately going to be sticking with ESL for a while yet. However I'm not sure on where to go.

Korea isnt a bad place to live but I wanna hit a place where I can do scuba and surfing, currently I'm planning on hitting Taiwan but the boards imply there is a bit of a shortage of jobs there.

So what is Jeju's job prospects like? Failing that Busan? What are the sea amenities like?

How's about Fujisawa, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan?

A friend who's teaching here now used to work there, and one of my old students from home (Japanese) lives there. He and his mates ride their bikes (special surfboard rack!) to the beach to surf. They both say there are lots of English teachers/schools around there. Close to Yokohama/Tokyo, too.

Interesting, I'm not against the idea of Japan, but I do wanna save money and I know its limited over there. But Japan does appeal. I think I'll get lonely planet books on both of the t'other countries before I decide Very Happy

How about Geoje? Cool

Scuba diving and windsurfing adherents are around, and the winters are mild, snowless. And unlike Jeju, no virtually no rain here, just blue skies in wintertime.

Plenty of beaches regardless.
