Right now in the world, there is a special VIP room. Every country is trying to gain access to it. There are only a select number of countries that can actually dine inside. Some countries can join in a round of drinks in the waiting lounge, but they can not go inside.
THE LIST:
ENGLAND-
FRANCE
ITALY
U.S
AUSTRAILIA
JAPAN
CANADA
GERMANY
(THE SWISS HAVE A SPECIAL PASS)
NETHERLANDS
sometimes.........
RUSSIA
CHINA
The lounge guests include.........
India
Thailand
South Korea
Mexico
Brazil

Anyways, why is Itatly a member of this club. I mean its a beautiful country with a fantastic history and all, but is its economy really strong enough to warrent membership?
Seriously, i'm totally clueless and would like an explanation if anybody has one. |

I'd just really like to know what the hell this post is getting at.
I honestly can't tell if the OP is excited about this club, angry, depressed, hungry, drunk..... what is it?
And I agree, Canada should be ranked much higher than a simple "sure" |

okay.........canada YES
Actually it is true. Ask yourself, "would I be lucky if I were born in Canada?" The answer, very lucky.
Actually this post started cooking when I heard a Korean girl in one of my classes say she wishes she had been born in France. I actually loved living in France, and on the train tonight I kept thinking about the "special" places in the world that everyone wishes they were a part of. In all of the countries I listed, people are actually lined up to get inside. This gives us a good look at the "luck" the citizens of these countries were born with. In other words, they are the V.I.P countries, I am sure I did not list them all, New Zealand could be added, also Singapore and even Norway and Denmark. |

I dunno, I think I'd place Korea as the underdressed dork outside of the velvet rope next to the parking area, claiming "I know America, man! China's my boy! Maaan....this party is wack anyway compared to what I done" |

You forgot Scandanavian countries......especially Norway and Sweden. You did mention Denmark.....I'd also add New Zealand and Iceland.
Why Italy? Sorry but don't have the figures but it does have a much stronger economy than its chaotic nature would indicate....
But i think the arguement is mute. Where you are born is like the weather....you always take it with you.... Sure, you can immigrate but then you are the victim of your good fortune. Ask most immigrants -- almost all will say they are living horrid lives, burdened if not financially then emotionally, in their soul. They immigrate for their children....So I think the better question is not where you'd like to live but where you'd like your children's children to live....

I hear the food is bland and the drinks are over-priced in that VIP room.
Plus you have to buy triple-priced drinks for the chick who sits at your table and laughs at all the stupid jokes you tell. |

There's another V.I.P. room within the V.I.P. room, and it's called the G8. |

And they don't invite Canada or Russia to the really exclusive G6 parties. |
