| I know they are scavengers, but I assume they process the harmless stuff like any other living thing. Now, the poisons... hmmm... any research on whether they carry more than their share of the nasties out there in the environment? |

I think it's supposed to be the big predators that get the higher concentrations of bad chemicals in their systems. You know, being at the top of the food chain and all. I still can't resist being king of the animals, though. Gotta show my dominance over the inferior species.
Where'd you get the cornmeal from, Demonicat?
I feel like chicken tonight, like chicken tonight. Broiled after marinating in lemon, olive oil, garlic, and oregano. Gonna have some potatoes, too. |

| My local store on the corner has corn meal- its not that rare here- consider that every thing from bread to pizza has corn on it. |

So today I finally got around to going to the new hot dog place on campus.
Chili dogs. And pretty friggin' good ones, too. |

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....hush puppies...grew up basically at Bar-B-Q Barn catering in Virginia. Hushpuppies and pork everywhere.......aghaghahghaghahghahgh......
And even with all the seafood talk, I'm still ahghahghaghahghahghagh..... NC style barbecue.....ahghaghahgh....smoked pig...aghaghahgh...

Don't worry about the spelling, I spelled bicycle bycicle in a recent post.  I'm hoping it was a typo and not early onset Oldsheimers.
The mentions of hushpuppies in restaurantsis worrisome, btw, 'cause Ive never had a good hushpuppy in a restaurant. 
And in regard to your sig: I found a bartender who makes a really good margarita! Not necessarily a good thing.  |

Were those sausages or hot dogs? I'm not too enthused by processed meat. Lips and ass, I tell ya.
Speaking of heart attacks, I hear salmon is actually good for that. Omega three fatty acids or some junk. Not that I'm too worried. I'm usually on the stationary bike 5 times a week.
Oh and about pork. Has anyone noticed that ������, or Korean Sweet and Sour Pork cooked "Chinese" style, seems to be more like pork rind than battered strips of pork sirloin? |

I won't touch processed meat after having had the president of a "food flavoring" company in Mexico City as a private student. I won't gross you with the details, but I will tell you that lips and ass are the least of the problems.   |

Lets just say that, according to this man high up in the processed food industry, some processed ham is 10% pig, and the rest "filler". |
