Which posters are you most likely to see on which topics?
Always interesting when posting on certain topics.. you can pretty much count on certain people posting on it.. for example, The Beaver with advice on how to get a university job, etc.
What are some of the topics you can think of and list certain posters you're sure to see there! |

Don't remember ever seeing The Bobster or Joo over here. They hang out rather exclusively in Current Events- personally
I need a bit more levitiy in my life, so I like to check in here sometimes. Too bad Off-Topic seems to be turning into Bible-study at times these days. If these are the "end times", shouldn't they be over in Current Events, taking their lumps with the big boys? |

Wow, what is this place? Really like what you've done with it since I've been gone - looks a lot different than it used to before they split the CE Forum off from it, gotta say ... whoa. The couches and comfy chairs in the corner are fine, but those drapes have GOT to go! Sorry, not gonna offer a poll about this.
I look in every once in a while on the other forums, and occasionally I might toss in a word or two in General. Long as this war's goin' on over in Iraq, most idle chitchat seems trivial, though when pressed to the wall I'll admit that trivialities are important, too ... uh, yeah.
Met a lot of good people here at Dave's over the years and a select few have become the closest of the close. Wierdly (or not) most of them don't give a hoot about politics and can't figure why I do. Maybe that's why I feel so relaxed with them over beer on those evenings when we make it out ...
I expect to see Sparkx show up whenever anybody mentions a streetfight. I expect a post from Eamo if someone talks about cocktails or any form of liquor - he's got the lowdown, even though the man's capacity is frightfully scarce. (Threw a Bachelor Party for him a week or so ago and he bowed out at 12:30 - half past midnight! - and that was a half hour later than most of us had bet on.) Zyzyfer tends to show on threads that have to do with food - he's a lanky, skinny drink of water, if you ever met him, and that might account for it ...
desultude can be found on threads that involve smart things, unless she is bored, in which case you will find her on threads like this one - by the way, des, we miss you over at CE, the overall IQ average of the place dropped 5% or more since we ain't seen you there ...
