Sounds nice Kate but my guess is that people want to learn Korean from a korean person.
Same like Koreans have to learn English from a blonde Canadian or they think they're not getting the real deal.

Its insane...but there you have it.

Ahem..good point. I'm just unused to seeing koreans post on here.

Either way, most of us learn Korean from friends, by way of language exchange. Easier than travelling 2 hours into Itaewon or to attend some lesson at a Uni.

Learning from co-workers and ordinary koreans sometimes can seem a bit timewasting sometimes though. They don't generally have an effective plan of attack, a formulated course of study. I bought a textbook to work through but its like water off a ducks back.
I've just got a new "teacher"- someone who saw me in a shop and sent a message to my school through a co-worker, saying she wants to learn English from me in exchange for a bit of Korean. Hopefully it'll work out.

Good luck with it Katie: if I lived near Itaewon I'd be giving you a call.

You HAVE Korean friends?

I'm largely similar to you- I avoid making eye contact with most Koreans, particularly the men, because it angers me to see into the mind of such small minded, miserable creatures.

So I guess learning Korean from them is okay, just as long as you don't make eye contact.

What an unfortunate occurrence of unprotected intercourse you and your ilk are, Rapier. I bet that eagle could outscore you in an IQ test, you grievously foul lackey.

Laughing

Moreover, the eagle looks like it has more personality and charm in one tail feather (even the one closest to its ass).
