				| Just saw the interview with Robert Jenkins on 60 Minutes. He is the US soldier who defected to North Korea and was finally released after 40 years. It was a very interesting interview. Anyway he said " Thinking back now, i was a fool."

				| I was pretty skeptical when I read the heading. 5 years in and we've hit the millennial jackpot?
 Then I read the quote.

We may well have the winner.

				| We shall see if it holds up over time. Last millenium's winner was John Wayne Bobbit when he said" It hurt real bad."

				| Is collecting world-class understatements your hobby?

And PS: Thanks for reminding me of one of my fondest memories: the DJ who had a contest following JW Bobbit's de-penisization--the Weeny Toss. Women were invited to drive by the station and toss hot dogs into a garbage can. Loved it!

				| His autobiography has just come out in Japanese. He is currently searching for a US/UK publisher for an English version.
There is a small translated bit in the current issue of Time (might actually be last weeks issue).

I think it is on their website somewhere.

				| I ordered the book and it'll be here in three weeks. I have no idea whether it'll be good or not but I'll let people know when I've finished it. | |
