I'm getting transferred to Suji. My hagwon wants to move me from my present, and rather comfortable, location in Bundang. I've conceded to check the place out, but I'm leaning toward saying no, based on what I've read here.

Few basic questions:

What bus routes run between Suji and Migeum? Suji and Seoul?

How much is cabfare between Suji and Bundang (Migeum, Jeongja, or Sunae)?

Is there a good gym in Suji? It took a while to find the one I now belong to, and I'm not going to give that up without a fight.

Many thanks.

Yeah, there is a real good gym there, if you don't mind paying 120,000 a month. The Suji Royal Sports center is a 3 story gym, pool, etc... in the McD's building, you can't miss it.

Are there stupid joining fees or anything like that? I'm already paying 100K for my place here in Sunae, and it sounds like a third the size of the one over there!

All 3 of the 720 busses run between Suji and Migeum. I'm sure there's more busses as well, since the two cities are right next to each other.

Cab fare shouldn't get above 10,000 won between southern Bundang and Suji unless you're practically living in Suwon, on the other side of Suji.

Cheapest and fastest bus is 82, or 500. Just about every village bus goes between Suji and Migeum.

Sorry Pal, Suji is the most horrible place on Earth. It's a city of apartments and nothing else, which I guess you realize. It's like Bundang, but a little older, and no parks and no mall. I feel that Suji/Yongin is the worst place ever created by God and man. I'd rather live in Calcutta.
