Hey guys... my computer learning curve continues!

I just downloaded Doom 3 off of a torrent... so now what do I do... burn the files onto a CD/DVD? Not quite sure how to proceed here.

In the file there are 3 WinRar files...

Thanks again!

first unrar it.

You can burn it or you can use Daemon Tools just to install it and ply (virtual cdrom)

Have to warn you the game isn't all that great. I just finished q4 its slightly better then d3 but not by much.. I heard FEAR is the game to get.

Ok... Smile Here are the problems I'm having...

#1) I don't have the code to complete the install... where can you find that on the net. Tried a google search and came up with not much to be honest.

#2) Was fiddling around with Daemon Tools... but can't seem to figure it out... but I think thats just going to be a time thing. I'm able to open up the files I extracted... but then I just get generic folders that have nothing to run in them.

#3) I think I actually would prefer to burn all the data onto a disc... but there are three folders... how do I make them all go onto the same burn disc? I'm using DVD Decrypter... the software that Bulsajo recommended earlier.

Thanks guys...

F.E.A.R. is the shizzit. It takes a beast to run but is well worth it.

TOLD YOU SO!

Wink

Metsuke, there are usually instructions, look in the WinRAR files again. They're usually 'disguised' as 'system info' files, but you right click on them and select 'open with' and select 'notepad', et voila.
