I'm assuming you are replying to Ilsanman's post. The only one which in anyway can be construed as negative to something Korean in particular. The tone of the thread certainly wasn't anti-Korean. Does every little thing have to put you in "defend Korea mode"? Do you jump to Canada's defence whenever anything critical is said about it? Your quest is tiresome to the rest of us. |

Get it through your head please: I am not defending Korean travel agencies.
Let me spell it out nice and clear for you: I just noted how silly it was to whine about Korean travel agencies jacking up the prices near holiday time. Why? Not to defend them...but just to point out that it is a common practice in the travel industry to jack up prices near holidays and that it is pretty naive or silly to start raising hell about this in Korea or anywhere else....
See not defending anyone. Not supporting anyone either. Simply passing an observation on the OP's reaction.
Now, if you want to keep beleiving I am defending Korean travel agencies because it suits you, well, go right ahead Zed...whatever floats your boat.
As for Korean defense mode...you go right ahead and keep believing I do that if, again, it jives with what you need to tell yourself.
But, again, in big bright letter for you: I do not defend Korea universally, heck I do not defend it much. I respond to dumb, one-sided, sweeping comments made by some on here about Korea and Koreans, much like I have responded to similar types of comments made about Canada and Canadians or any other culture and country. See the pattern there Zed? Naww...guess not, you would rather keep on trucking with that "he defends Korea all the time" idea because it does not require you to think about or actually read what I am saying. As always, it is much easier to just follow the herd Zed... |

This had the potential to be a good interesting, thread.
It would have been nice if you could have kept it going in that direction rather than derailing it into some apologist rant. |
