I used to use winmx...but alas...no longer....pay site now.
If I have to join a pay site to download music..what are the best options?
That is, for those of you who have done your research homework, unlike my less than enthusiastic self for computer based searches...what have you found to be of greatest use to you personally?
Thanks to all in advance.
Take care and keep smiling.

Thanks, I will look into it.

It's strange...when I had winmx, I just expected it to continue...
I guess I didn't learn from the Napster affair...oh well. Crying or Very sad

My search for downloading music(free that is) continues...

Note: I am not against paying for music...in fact, I am in favour of it...I'm just not into buying CDs at exhorbitant rates....argggg Evil or Very Mad
What are the best pay sites as well...are they worth it???

Again thanks. Wink

the best pay site for me is bleep.com since they have lots of the kind of stuff that you don't find in many CD shops and it's only 10 bucks for an album.

If you want an eclectic mix, with a lot of European stuff (electronic, ambient, heavymetal/classical, etc), and jazz and classical, try piratebay.org. I has an awesome variety and is quick to download using bittorrent.
