I think, Dulouz, that you are very much using your own private definition of "lazy" here.

For those of you who prefer to use words according to their accepted meanings:

Quote:
lazy ( P ) Pronunciation Key (lz)
adj. lazier, laziest
Resistant to work or exertion; disposed to idleness.
Slow-moving; sluggish: a lazy river.
Conducive to idleness or indolence: a lazy summer day.
Depicted as reclining or lying on its side. Used of a brand on livestock.

And for the definition of "idle":

Quote:
Not employed or busy: idle carpenters. See Synonyms at inactive.
Avoiding work or employment; lazy: shiftless, idle youth. See Synonyms at lazy.

Not in use or operation: idle hands.

Lazy, stupid and corrupt.

Lazy - Mexico is no ones economic darling. It never was. For a few years they had maquilladoras until those went to Asia. Several generations of stoop labor is no trophy. The US has to compete against the brightest in the world in order to keep the level of economic comfort . A contribution of stoop labor will not help meet that end.

Stupid - Mexico ...

I'm going to retract somewhat. When I give advice to someone who has failed, the advice is either that you are lazy or stupid. Stupid means that you are in over your head and you should quit and reassess. You simply might not be good enough. Lazy is better in that you can become not Lazy via hard work. Stupid is much harder to overcome.

Mexicans come to The US for a better life. Better life means more money. They have lots of kids and they flood the public schools with these children. The kids then either do poorly or drop out and of course its never their fault. Its the White people's fault. They don't care enough or they don't spend enough money on the Mexican-American kids or illegal immigrant Mexican American kids.

Other than that, Mexico again, isn't anyone's intellectual darling. Not for patents, not for innovations.

Corrupt - Mexico has really bad crime and really bad corruption. Do you want links? We in the US, take great pride in routing out corruption. I'm very unhappy with the intrinsic corruption endemic in Latin culture. I'm tired of the problem.

The poor in Pakistan.... Pakistan is a place where you go to study the Koran at those famous Madrassas. Economically speaking, its a waste of time. Truly. They are suffering at their own hand and i thinks its unethical to ask others to make up the difference.

Thats really news to me. I read the BBC everyday and they always gloat over the rise of the BRIC's and the eventual demise of The US. They don't talk about Pakistan. The economy might be doing better because GWB is giving them favorable trade deals as a reward for their "help" on *beep*. If they are doing well, then I feel better not sending money. They can take care of themselves.

I've given up responding to this poster. I refuse to believe anyone not already brain dead could post such dong and mean it. Therefore, he is a troll. I hope to goodness it's the second, because the first option means the world is worse off than I thought. Then again, the level of his grammar supports the first contention.

Don't waste your time.

more evidence you're a troll.

Overview of Pakistan's economic growth

IMF review of Pakistan's economic growth

Quote:
In conclusion, Pakistan is rapidly developing into a healthy and vibrant economy. The country seems well on its way to reach a higher long-run growth path.

Pakistan Times article

Quote:

After posting much better than expected growth last fiscal year at 8.4 percent, Pakistan's economy is projected to grow by 6.5 percent in 2005-2006, says Asian Development Outlook 2005 Update release.

The steeper than projected increases in oil prices, shortages of essential food items, and strong domestic demand would push inflation at higher levels of 8.5 percent than the earlier forecast of 5 percent.
