It's silly, corny with a Doogie Hauser voice over and a Jewish schnauzer,

but SCRUBS makes me laugh at its contrived humour.

It's edgy for t.v.

Makes one think how staid or shock jock most other shows are. Especially in Korea.

Great writing and concept. It's different from the usuall half hour sitcoms out there. Other interesting sitcoms are 'The Entourage' and 'Arrested Development'. If I see another re-run of Friends, I'll puke.

Friends is dumbass humor but funny if you want to be a zombie, sitcoms like Scrubs and Arrested Development are great because the humor is smart and you don't feel like eating braaaains.

I love Thats 70's Show...the first couple of series that is

Still love the show, fifteen months after I first heard of it.

Have seen all the episodes to date.

Never knew a sitcom could have so much heart.

I love arrested development.

Scrubs on the other hand, I like it but I don't think its particularly smart or original.

Definitly not on the same level as Friends(altho Friends wouldnt be in my top 5). I think some people have been blinded by its popularity.

Whoever said Scrubs is edgy has not been watching the same show as me, bordering on cheesy, like friends.(but still good).

Arrested development, the Larry Sanders Show and Seinfeld would be my 3 must watch American shows.

From Britain check out 'Peep Show'. I',m into that at the minute.

I don't understand you. But that's okay. Maybe you're a New Yorker. Wink That'd explain everything.

I'm from Ireland. I'm not a massive fan of friends but it is funny in its own way. Its very well constructed as is Scrubs.

The moral at the end of each episode really, really annoys me. I don't need a moral and it seems to constrict the humor somewhat.

Seinfeld is comedy genius, where I regularly explode laughing. Scrubs simply does not have charachters like Costanza or Kramer. Dr Cox is the only thing close. Indeed I would say Costanza is def one of the greatest comedy creations of the last century.

Anyway as far as more recent comedy goes, Arrested Development is utterly fantastic. the only comparison between it and Scrubs in terms of quality is the abscence of a laugh track. Maybe because there is no oohs and awws to the regular cheese in Scrubs, people don't notice it as much?

I love scrubs, and sadly owe part of my life to it. After watching it for 6 years, I finally decided to get off my ass and go to medical school. Now, this is not to say that a sit com changed my life, I had been planning med school for well over 15 years, but it just gave me the kick in the ass to get over my fear and go for it. That whole "realizing doctors are people", thing just did it for me.

Scrubs is in its final season, I believe. I'll miss it. I've picked up some great one liners from that show.

"What has two thumbs and doesn't care"? *points to self*
"Good morning, reasons why I drink".
"Stop doing that thing you always do". - "What thing"? - "You know...TALKING"!
"For convenience I will call all the girls Debbie". - "Hey, my name IS Debbie". - "Then your name will be Slagathor".
