Interesting article.
Manual control? Focus? Exposure? All of that? ... On a P&S it's .. cumbersome.
It really is a tradeoff. But $750 for a DSLR with lens really is a great price. The D50 is very comperable to the D70s - which is, yeah - about a mil.
If not, just get the panny and upgrade later when you get tired of it. I guess I'm just trying to save you that step.
Anyways, good luck with your purchase!
and .. yes, you can haggle a little in yongsan. Most importantly... shop around! You'll get varying prices in different booths. |

Agreed. Interesting article.
My Casio QV-R40 has lots of pre-sets which cover all I need. if I was a professional photographer with an SLR then I would have to know which setting to use. With the digital presets I can get a good image (not professional, I know).
Here's some quick snaps using my Casio with presets...
