I heard it mentioned (vaguely) from someone that there is a M&S store in Seoul - does anyone know if there is or not?
There hasn't been any mention of it on this site so I'm assuming there isn't, but you never know...
Quite fancy going along to the food court and trying to get some semi-decent UK-style food if possible |

Just in case anyone (like me) needs more details for locating the Marks and Spencer in Apgujeong:
-Subway Line 3, Apgujeong Station, Exit #5
-Walk down Apgujeongno (Hyundai Dpt Store is across the street on your right)
-Pass Starbucks on your left
-Pass McDonald's on your left
-Marks and Spencer is in the Gaonix Building (nameless) but M&S is located on the first floor and is visible from the sidewalk as it has a wall of windows.
If you're into reading completely useless* info, here is a list of Marks and Spencers in South Korea:

---------------------------------
*First I tried locating #1 in Jung-Ku based on the logic that if it says Lotte Main then M&S must be located within Lotte Main in Jung-Ku but ... nope. Then I tried locating #5 in Apgujung-Dong based on the idea that if it says Hyundai Main then M&S must be located within Hyundai Main in Apgujeong. Again, nope. Then, by sheer luck I found a free map of the area that pinpointed a "Max & Spencer". Lo and behold, there it was, two blocks down from the Hyundai Main. That is why this list is completely useless and is also why Im leaving directions for the next person.

These are only franchise operations, not the real thing. The range is limited, very limited and the food hall a few blocks away in London. |

HAH HAH HAH HAH hahahahha
Sorry. I had a million other potential responses ready to go, but I was laughing too hard at the thought of the M&S in Apkujeong being decent. Let alone it having a food court. And, it never having been mentioned on here before.
Sorry to disappoint... |

Don't know, but I've always found that word 'sarnie' very irritating. Common. |

They must at least have very sensible underwear. It can't be an M&S without good quality modest underwear. |

They don't carry food. I wish they did.

Yes, they do. Nice undies, albeit pricey comparing to the UK! |
