right now, animals are a pain.
about 2 months ago, our dog got hit by a car. It's been slow healing. That and the vet removing the pin early (as well as her hobbling around a bit). Well, she rebroke her leg two weeks when the stupid dog jumped from our bed.
So this week has been in and out of the bet. Poor thing...gettin' doped up all the time like that.,.. then traumatized an yelping.
and, our newly acquired cat has just gone into heat....just this half burping/meowing sound now all day. then at night....scratching at doors and meowing almost nonstop.
then my wife gets pissed and wakes me up with the cursing "COLLEEN!!! SHUT THE #@% UP!!!"
i go get the spray bottle, giver her a few squirts and she's fine.
the dog has also taken to chasing the cat around the house (somewhat infrequently) with her recast leg. so she spends as much time as possible in her "Crate"
poor animals...poor stupid animals. |

(...I'll start heavy and finish on a light note)
Many humans - those who make zero spiritual progress this life and live no better than animals - will get to experience first-hand what it's like to be animals again next birth ...
Your pets are very lucky they've got a loving family caring for them... Have you considered getting a talking pet mouse? He could drive the dog around in a toy car - and mediate relations between her and the cat (I just showed Stuart Little 2 to one of my high school classes ... ) |

We had a talking lemur for a while but, long story short, pre-car accident dog totally tore the sh** outta it. |

Well... the first was in ref. to the lack of sleep. The second is a poke at us humans: I often wonder which is the pet and which the owner! I mean, look waht we put ourselves through at times. It can be pretty funny... in an ironic sort of way. You know, do you have pets or do they have you? |
