For me, I'm stuck in the office until 6:30 tonight.
Is there any kind of dinners being held in Seoul, especially around Itaewon?

My Thanksgiving will be this weekend, which kind of starts in about 10 minutes because I only have one class tomorrow. Anyway, today has been a very good day. For some reason, things have gone exceptionally well here at school this week and today the weather is terrific. So I'm feelin' good. Good enough to wanna kill a turkey and eat all of it myself.

Made green bean casserole, Stove Top stuffing and scooped cranberry gelatin into a tupperware and ate it at work between classes.

I'm thankful for tupperware and microwaves. Confused

I'm not american but I'm all about thanksgiving. My friends and I have a big feed up on saturday. Turkey, beef, stuffing, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie. yum yum yum.

Sucks. Spaghetti leftovers and celery sticks. I got off work too late for the thing at Gecko's and I don't know anybody having one this weekend. Third year without Thanksgiving. Crying or Very sad

Sparkx just left drunk and I am drunk--fine chilean wine. The turkey was average (my first) and the mashed potatoes were excellent.

I have dish pan hands right now.

Left overs for the next week is exciting me.

I'm not American either, but I must say this has been one of the finest American-Thanksgivings I've had, thanks for asking.

The parents of one of the kindy students brought in a complete turkey lunch for the waegukin staff (4 of us). The Korean-staff were welcome to join, but most shied away - "I don't like turkey!" Seriously, how can you not like turkey?

Only one problem: I was hurtin' for a turkey nap throughout my afternoon classes.

Ours was almost derailed. Last night I discovered my (Korean!) cat was missing and eventually discovered she had snuck into a neighbour's house right before they left Colorado for Thanksgiving in Texas and was locked inside!!!

Luckily another neighbour had an emergency key.

Staying up late to give the family a call....at 2:30am KOREAN time!!

After you've been here awhile, you kind of forget about "home holidays" and enjoy the Korean ones (those blessed "red days"!!).

I didn't know it was even Thanksgiving until my sister emailed me to wish me a happy one......
