So I have KT Megapass (I think it's the Lite version), ADSL, and it uses a PPPoE connection, and lately I've been having a lot of trouble connecting... it goes through the whole process up to "Authenticating user..." and then it says it failed and disconnects. If I keep trying it'll let me on eventually, but the wait times seem to be getting a lot longer (usually at least a half hour this week.) Then once it's connected it usually works okay. does anyone else have this problem, or any experience with it, or ideas about what's wrong?

I used to have that problem when I'd switch the modem on/off or switch the cable to use my laptop on the internet at home. Now that it's permanently plugged into my desktop and never turned off, I've not had the problem anymore.

Call their English support line. The two times I called them their service was superb. They had a guy out to my place the same day, even. And the phone support people have excellent English. It's weird, they have better command of the English language than most tech support people you get through to in North America.

Do you happen to have the phone number for the English support line?

Dial 100 from your land line phone and then press 8 at the first voice prompt.
