|
|
| So, after a rough morning involving fixing windows (easy enough) I was reading PC hardware which had an interesting pit on how to up performance by tweaking BIOS DRAM timings and CAS info. I followed their instructions and saved an exited. Coming back up, I go a "no signal" on the monitor then the long beep. Nothing else, no info or anything, just a long beep. It was a phoenix Award BIOS. If any of you Bios guys want it, I'll give 100.000 W to fix it tonight, or help me out with tips. I am at a PC bang now, so...please help and god's speed. |

If you can't find the CMOS reset jumper just take the battery out for an hour or so. |

| thanks, I fixed it. It was even simpler. I went home and for the piss of it, hit "insert" while restarting. Bam! Fixed. I kid you not. I don't quite understand, but hey- why complain? |

One time a buddy and I really messed up my bios. We were sitting there for 20 minutes all worried on what to do.
I pulled out the battery and it was fixed. |
