I started a blog in March and not too much later started inserting photos. They are hosted by TinyPic and the links in my blog insert the pix automatically when one looks at my blog.
Now I notice that some of the earlier ones are beginning to disappear, first the first batch, then a couple more..... It's like in the Stephen King story "The Langoliers" where the little monsters declare things to be used up and gobble them down, moving inexorably forward through time......
Has any of you who are bloggers had this problem? Any trouble with TinyPic? Is there a photo host you'd recommend. It's less of a problem with these early entries but my current pages are very photo-intensive and I have to re-load them all in seven months it will be a lot of work....
My blog is http://middlekorea.livejournal.com
And I've recently started another one at: http://blogs.bootsnall.com/skookum/
They won't be much use when the photos are gone...... |

After a few months, TinyPic deletes your images. It's meant to be a quick and dirty solution, not a long-term one.
Better to get an account at ImageShack or Flickr, both of which promise to keep your pics "forever." |
