I was in Bundang yesterday, not the warmest of days, and had lunch with a female friend. She was wearing this light jacket more appropriate for mid fall. My other female friend tends to wear a light leather jacket even though it's -5c. My own GF seems to never wear a coat appropriate for the weather.

These aren't women wearing little miniskirts and bound for Hongdae. They're 30something adult women who err on the side of comfortable shoes. Anyone else notice this?

Maybe they're trying to build-up up stamina for days like today. I wore a skirt and pumps today, and I think I will wear my boots from now on. Keep the shoes at work. God, I was wishing I had mukluks and a babushka while I was waiting for a taxi.

It may be more a seasonal thing. It's not yet heavy coat season, so you shouldn't bundle up in a heavy coat yet - just like you shouldn't go to the beach in autumn even if it's a hot, sunny day.

The Korean teachers at my school are constantly cold. During the afternoons when they don't have classes and can pretty much live in the teacher's room, they have a portable heater in there cranked way up. If I go in to make copies, I feel like I've walked into an oven. They shiver and shake and mention how cold it is constantly. I keep telling them to dress appropriately for the weather. They are wearing the same kind of clothes they wore in early fall, except darker colors. Of course they are cold. Rolling Eyes I think it's kind of like the kids. I'll have a kid sitting there in this giant puffy coat more appropriate for hiking in the mountains or snowskiing and complaining that he's hot. Rolling Eyes My rule now is that coats go off before they even sit down.

I saw some kkot nam-jas this weekend wearing only thin jackets- no hat, gloves, or scarves. My husband is looking for a "jackpot item" to sell in Korea. I told him he should find a way to make an invisible cloak (similar to Harry Potter's), and then everyone can still show off their Von Dutch, etc. clothing yet still be warm.

That's a chick! (For some reason that was my girlfriend's Halloween costume. She just showed up wearing her bikini top.)

is this the same girl in the stockings photo? Blimey

Girls in the UK have a similar brazen disregard for the temperature when they choose their drinking outfits- I've no idea how they do it.

Oh my bad, just looked quickly, and you never know these days. Either way, I got a "friendly" from an unnamed mod, urging me look more carefully, or wearing my glasses when I comment on individuals avatars.

I'm just circulating through my collection of "women I know and I have a theoretical, historic, or actual chance with".

She's my ex from HK.

Do these women know that you are using them as your avatar? I wouldnt think that would be allowed and might even be a potential lawsuit for dear brother sperling. I know if my daughter, wife, or the such's picture was put up without her knowledge or agreement, I would contact the web authorities in having the site closed down or at very least reprimanded.
