you walk outside and in less than a minute you have ice hanging from your eyelashes - this happens regularly in Winnipeg.

Your nose hair freezes.

Happened to me a few times in Northern Finland in winter. Very weird sensation.

It's not cold until your coat freezes solid and you start to freeze from the inside out starting at your lungs.

your skin feels like it's burning - chicago winter.

btw, i feel like a wuss for wearing a hat, gloves, and scarves (and i'm still kinda cold!) while all the koreans in my neighborhood have on jackets ONLY. i've been through 8 winters in chicago and 6 in boston! what's wrong with me? (i realize i've left myself open to ridicule, especially since issuing this statement.)

Ha. Or worse you do the really cheapo thing where they just wrap grocery store bags around the handlebars.
