So I went over to Unique travel today to pay for some tickets. I found, to my unpleasant surprise, it had burned along with a few stores near it on Thursday night. Hmmmm, crap. Now luckily I do have reservations still with another agency, but they are charging considerably more than Unique who obviously arent answering their phone or emails right now. I've got about 2 weeks till I've got to fork out for the higher price, so if anyone hears whats going on with Unique I'd love to know about it, thanks!

I'm sitting here in shock. I spoke with Young-mi on Thursday. My tickets for two different trips had been paid for with my credit card, and tickets were to have gone out on Friday. Has anyone heard what customers are supposed to do? This is unreal.

And not one business in those two buildings had fire insurance. I am still asking around to find out how it started. Nobody knows yet.

My tickets were lost in the fire. Young-mi has just assured me that they will be reprinted, and sent out again in the next day or so. Since I no longer live in Seoul, picking them up is not really an option. I have dealt with Unique and Young-mi for many years, so I do know she will keep her word.

Tarah,

Thanks for the additional info. They have always been closed on Sunday in the past. If anyone is thinking of visiting them on a Sunday they should definitely double check.
