|
|
I have one computer at the moment and I use it in my office.. I just plug
in directly into the phone line socket in the wall and away I go..
but I am buying another pc this week and I will put it in my spare bedroom... what I want to know is.. can I just plug that one straight into the phone line jack in the wall and use the internet there too..
does that mean I can have both PC using the internet at the same time?
will it slow down traffic? is this possible etc,.,.
if you have any info on this matter.. please post..
cheers.. |

| Each computer requires an IP address. So, try it. If your DSL is set up to provide more than one IP address then it will work. Otherwise, (more likely) you'll need to pay the DSL people for an extra IP address or use one of the internet connection schemes described in that article - like a router, for example. |
