Idea Ruthless success, a forgotten notion in the World of Democracy. Democracy is compromise in disguise, now in a marriage compromise is a good thing but when defending a nation or setting an agenda all the good things become watered down in an attempt to appease everyone with a strong view instead of pushing forward with the single idea. We need a unified government with a strongly defined set of goals from which they dont deviate. Let us do the research make a decision and see it through. Idea

It's too easy for them to be wrong, to become extreme, to become a dictator, to become abussive, to suppress human rights, and there is no checking them if they take an extreme course. Im against war pretty strongly. But this is one thing I'd give my life for, to make sure what you're talking about never happens.

People see dictators as evil but they don't need to be. The sad thing is everyone is more concerned about their own happiness instead of the benefit of the many. Honestly I am one of the selfish ones, I want a government that appeals to me. I want my taxes low and services I use to be effective, I couldn't careless about most others but it doesn't mean I don't realise that there is a better solution out there. Obviously the dictator needs to be benevolent but nothing says some democratic leaders are better than dictators, Nixon, Blair, Castro, Pinochet, Mussolini (Okay now am getting silly but if you go back, small councils are individual rulers were common place among smaller societies. Lets get back to the local!!!)
I struggle to be serious with discussions like this but everyone has different views, thats why they get a vote each. I like the notion of a peers council of local leaders elders but I know what kind of problems that would bring too. I could rant endlessly for days but I'll stop now and entertain myself with the flashing lights.
