There is a report on a poll in today's JoongAng Ilbo. The question was about identifying yourself as a progressive, moderate or conservative. The report mentions the views of people in their 20's, 30's and older and how they answered in 2003, 2004 and 2005. It might be interesting to stop a minute and predict their views before you read the article and make a prediction about the trends.

That was an interesting read but I have some questions about the study because of the small sample. They only polled 1,000 people and then it's broken down by ages. That could mean a very small sample for each age group.
The other question I have is how do they decide if someone is moderate or not? Did they ask a series of questions and then categorize each person, or did they simply ask if the person is a moderate, conservative, or liberal? If the latter, that is simply a matter of opinion. (I think I'm a liberal, but my sister would say I'm conservative at times)

You should know it doesn't pay to ask too many penetrating questions when discussing Korean journalism.
