It is really expensive to get Western Electronics into Korea. They add tax and the shipping rates are outrageous. Customs is also a biatch. I get the feeling that Koreans only want you to buy Korean electronics. They are really protective of their market. I mean look at the ipod nanos. In Korea they were released 1 month after they were available all over the world. I mean I could have gone to Japan and got one on the American release date, but I would have paid almost 10-20 VAT on top of the Japanese VAT and their adjusted pricing (Electronics in Japan are usually 15% higher than America).
My advice is to give Johnny your best offer, and let the market decide what is a fair price.
