I may be in trouble, I may not- I need advice.
Its time for me to do my second visa run as my current one expires on the 28th. The boss has set up a light to Fuk. Japan this wednesday. Here's the issue: due to it being Christmas week, many flights are booked up and the best they could find was an a flight with an arrival at 12:45 (on wednesday) and a departure at 13:30 on Thurday. The boss seems to think this will work, but I have my doubts- and severe fears of spending Christmas sleeping over a grate in Japan. What do you ol' hands think? |

Last time I went I had to drop it off before lunch on day 1 and pick it up after lunch (2pm or so) on day 2.
Maybe you'll get lucky... but try to plan on staying an extra day. The weather's warmer anyways. |

I have done the run on that type of time frame before, BUT i will inform you that it was tight.
I did it in May this year.
I put my passport in at 1.30pm or so and picked it up just before 11am the next day.
I had to be on a 12.30pm flight back to Busan. I would suggest getting a taxi from the Consulate to the airport. It will cost about 3000 Yen |
