[Dazed and Confused]

A couple weekends ago my husband decided we needed to go to Costco on a Saturday afternoon. Now, I am one who doesn't like to go on Saturdays because I find it too much trouble and I don't like the crowds. But since we were having a party, I didn't really have a choice.
There I was shopping in the bakery/ produce section of Costco when suddenly I felt a not so slight bump into my big white butt. I am a reasonable person and this is Costco, a Saturday, and it is crowded so I blow it off. Not 10 seconds later I get another bump, then another. By this time my blood pressure is about to go through the roof and my head is about to explode. So I figure I've got a couple choices. I can:
a) Turn around shout hysterically and tell this Korean to stop pushing her shopping cart into my butt.
b) Ignore it.
c) Get my husband to say something about it.
d) Give her cart a swift back kick and hope she gets the hint.

I, being a nonconfrontational person, opt for D and gave her shopping cart a big WWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCKKKKKKK!
To my satisfaction she is totally taken off guard as her Costco soda explodes all over her fake Versce purse Or maybe it was real Who cares? and shopping cart. I smile slyly to myself while looking over my shoulder and continue my shopping.
My husband was totally oblivious to the whole thing and when I say something he comments "She pushed and you pushed back."

I've been here a long time, married a local fellow, and I know a litte more than "some" Korean but I have found it useless to tell Koreans to stop doing something unless you scream at the top of your lungs. Good on you for using some Korean to get your point across and it actually works. It doesn't for me.

No it is better to smash her cart, spill her soda and feel good about it...nicely done..you did score a point there in some obscure little contest where you seem to keep score.

I agree with the others, in the end, the ajuma will win...as the house always wins.

I was in Myeong dong one day and it was quite crowded. You know how it can get. Some fat pig of a woman kept pushing me. Like where was I going to go? Was this going to make me go faster? Can pushing me from behind make me turn into a gas and allow me to pass through the person in front of me. Finally I stopped and turned around to see who was pushing me. It was a fat pig of a woman. Korean. In English she said "very sorry". Damn right you're sorry, ya fat pig.

I personally like the back-kick option, and so apparently too does the OP's Korean husband. The (better) axiom, "the odds always favour the house" doesn't mean that Korea(ns) will always or eventually get the better of us, or that we can't turn Korea(ns) to our own advantage and pleasure. You could even say that some of us have made careers of it.

The fact that the woman hitting her in the butt was Korean is irrelavant! Kudos to the OP for teaching an ignorant woman to watch where she is pushing her cart.

You go, girl!! I push back (nudge hard) with my hip, and I don't even have to turn around to do it, either. Just a little jerk to the cart is enough to get them to back off. Hubby thinks it's warranted, as well- stepping all over people's heels and bumping them 2, 3, 4 times is uncalled for.
