I plug in a new MP3 player and I get a message about the "USB device not recognized." There is no installation CD. Is there something else I'm supposed to do or is it broken? I've tried using it on two computers. |

The unwritten rule on the tech forum is to 'give more information'!
It is a 99% chance that it is a driver issue
If the computers you've tried it one are using windows 2000 or XP then they often seem to sort themselves out regarding drivers.
Try the obvious, check the manufacturers website for the download section and you'll probably be in business soon. Look for USB drivers on the MF's website and I'm sure it'll be easy. |

Yes, sorry. I didn't know what else to say. I called the store and I can return it. I was trying to use it on a Windows XP service pack 2 computer. It shouldn't have needed a driver program. I thought maybe there was some setting on the computer or something else that I didn't know to do. Thanks for the suggestions anyway. |
