With portable DVD players comes the requirement of lugging around a bunch of DVDs. Save yourself the trouble by ripping your DVDs onto your computer and buying a PMP with enough disk space to store as may movies as you could desire. Some good models for this are the Archos av700, the Cowon A2, the iStation v43, and the Mobinote DVX-Pod 7010. Google them and see what you come up with.

I have resolved to not buy one of the many $80-180 cheapies from Costco/Best Buy but to wait patiently for Archos prices to come down to a reasonable level.
Since they're currently sitting at around $800 CDN, I'm going to be waiting a long time. Sad
