Has anyone heard of a school not paying for the chain name it was using and what the parents did when they found out??

There were a heck of a lot of Mickey Mouse decals on the windows of the kindergarten I worked for in Taiwan, and I don't think they were licensed. Heck we actually had a Mickey Mouse costume that the boss's son would wear on open house days sometimes... though it wasn't exactly a perfect replica.

I heard awhile back that Ewha hogwons were sued by Ehwa Uni. The hogwons lost and had to change their names.

And Ewha the hagwon eventually changed it's name to the prestigious sounding moniker "W."

Now, if that's not a name that inspires confidence, I don't know what is.

The first hogwon that I worked in, back in 2002 had my university logo splashed everywhere. At open days the director would proudly show off loads of letters addressed to him from the university. When I actually read the letters they were advising him that no, they would not be able to offer him commission for any students that applied to study there. The guy was a freak and I lasted 4 months.
