We don't really bash Americans do we? We're just having fun with them.

Ten points to the first American who can tell me the official name of this building to the left (and spell it the Canadian way, will you?). What is the central part with the clock called? (ten more points) What city is it in? (ten more) What two houses are within its walls? (20 points) Good luck.

I don't know how to spell "red x" the Canadian way either, and I am Canadian Wink

It the Queen's House. Everyone knows that. If you look close enough, you can see her changing in one of the windows. Not too shabby, considering her age.

I'll personally stop bashing Canucks, if you all promise that Canadians will miraculously start to love America and teach their children likewise when the US elects a Democrat....like they did back in Clinton's days????

Seems to me that the Libs have tried to cover their sleaze in attempts to wrap Harper in an American flag. And yes, the fact that Canadian voters appear to be on the verge of rejecting such infantile tactics in favor of some good-old-fashioned democratic change is a very heartening sign.

12 years is too long for ANY party to be in power, be they the Libs in Canada or the 1980-92 Reagan-Bush years in the states.

Bring on the pendulum.

the libs just look terrible going into this election and then, during the campaign actually seemed like a thought vaccuum. and perhaps a moral vaccuum too (what with ANOTHER scandal hitting the public right in the middle of it all...)

Of course, NOBODY is going to vote for an NDP because, despite the fact that a lot of people actually LIKE the NDP party ideas, nobody wants them to be the government.
So what happens?
People swing away from the libs but want a more certain win than an NDP

I don't like it, but i can LIVE with a tory government. But i REAAAALLLY hope it's a minority though. My biggest concerns are private health care and the abandonment of the decriminalization debate. And while in principal i have no problem with greater military spending, i don't know too much about this "people will stand up and take notice of the canadian military". I mean, come on folks, we have populations smaller than country 1/30th our size!! What's the POINT in a canadian military being noticed?
