I'm biased but there are notable absences on your list Bo.

My apologies there Bulsajo. I had to cut it short when the blasted computer-thingy instructed me that I entered too many names!

Please feel free to make your own contribution(s) and a brief word or two of praise.

Hey sorry, I meant to edit but got side-tracked at work.

I meant to add that Waterbaby, Crazy Lemon Girl and Canuckistan are ladies who have put a lot of work into making this place useful and user-friendly.

Maybe they don't garner the controversy and/or fan clubs that some of the others do, but I think their efforts and class should be recognized on a thread like this.

And now I see that you did in fact have CLG on your list.

My vote goes to all the ladies here past, present, and future, without whose voices Dave's ESL would be a far less interesting place to visit.

It might be worthwhile exercise to try to identify who else of the female persuasion participate on these forums. It's not always obvious, and avatars are sometimes confusing (at least to me...) "Periwinkle", "ChimpumCallao", "desultude", "Pet Lover", "Rachel Roo", "Taegu Girl", "Sarahsarah", "Karabeara" , "Krats1976" , "Justagirl" "jaderedux", "princess" , "canuckistan" and "Peach" are also girls/females/women - or whatever they wanna be called... Anyway, I'm sure that I'm missing some, and there are a few newcomers, so someone please add to (or subtract) from this list...(Well, I guess I'm the only one - except for the moderators - that can add to the list on this post - I'll have to edit a lot...)

Please excuse me, then -- I thought you might be too old to be considered a "girl" (based on the very mature opinions you've expressed on this forum ...) so I listed you as a "female". Razz

Well, I thought my polite little *ahem* hint above would do the trick but I guess not, so:

I'M A GIRL TOO.

There. Cool

Popularity contests are creepy.

But it is good to clarify these things. I once thought about launching an "Are you Male or Female?" thread, and I'd include the notice: 'Until you've posted here to indicate one or the other, the Guru will refer to you as "it"'.
