| I'd finish the contract first then head over to Italy/Spain/Greece/Portugal/Thailand/Vietnam/Brazil/Malaysia or Egypt. If free rent was thrown in then why not? |

Good question.
Considering my family situation and links to the local community, I don't think elswhere would be better for me.
We might relocate eventually (when our son is a bit older) as my second job will allow me to work most anywhere.
As Korea not comparing to Toronto....I agree...Korea wins hands down..TO is a gaping hole of crap...(and I was born there) |
Toronto might be going to hell, but the city is still better than Seoul in a lot of ways.
I was born and raised in TO and I won't be returning there. High cost of living vs crappy starting salaries. No thanks. |

| I'd stay. In the end, it all comes down to personal preference. I like it here and it's close to a number of countries I'd like to visit. And I bet that a number of the teachers who are complaining about Korea would complain no matter where they are. The grass always looks greener...but there is a BIG difference between visiting a country as a tourist and working there, as most would quickly find out. |

Do you get that warm, tingly feeling when people criticise Korea? |

Portugal or Brazil because I really like the language.
Don't yearn to leave Korea, however. |

Same here Mr. Pink! Except I escaped TO when I was 5 as my parents moved to Ottawa....still have tons of family there.
If we were to relocate to Canada...TO would not be on our list of choices. Perhaps Montreal however....
Barking,
What? where? arrrgg this line you are pushing is tired and old..get a new one please.
Let me whip out the blackboard and chalk for ya once more and please follow along:
a...I don't love everything Korean
b...I don't think criticism is a bad thing when it is focused and in perspective.
c...I have the same attitude with my home country (things I like, things I dislike and I find sweeping comments about it just as repulsive and idiotic).
Hope it works this time...if not let me know and I will mail you a hard copy version of the "how to" guide...cheers

Homer: Montreal might be a culture shock for your wife It is quite a unique city.
Why not live in Ottawa? I did a stint there and it isn't so bad. Just not my cup of tea.
I am thinking South-Western Ontario will get my vote of relocation. It is cheap and has lots of jobs. |

Mr Pink,
We visited Montreal a few times and she quite liked it....
South-West Ontario..hmmm maybe.
She also loved Vancouver (on the ocean like Busan) but I was not to keen on the place.
Anyway this is all hypothetical as we have no short or mid-term plans to relocate... |

I don't know why anyone would stay. The women? If you could make the same somewhere else, why not go? Korea's not so great. There are other places in the world.
How much do they pay in Iraq? |

| Its the mystical provincial capital of Ontario. Where the streets are paved with maple syrup and sports are played all year long. |

BFD, eh. And where rent is 2000 bucks a month. And the streets are paved with bums and last call is 12:30 am.
There are better places in Canada. Many. |

I wonder if this means that we'll have the pleasure of reading a creepy poem dedicated to igotthisguitar in the near future? |
