|
|
Feb 4- I fly to Bangkok to take a class.
Feb 11- My girl meets me in Bangkok.
Feb 19- We return to Korea.
We would like to take a 2 or 3 day tour in Phuket.
Any recommendations?
Where should we go in Thailand to buy the package?
Where should we buy the Phuket plane tickets?
Signed... Knucklehead |

When you are at the airport on the 4th, look for the Orient Thai Airlines One-Two-Go ticket booth and buy your roundtrip tickets then. (It is small and has a yellow sign.) They have cheap flights between BKK and Phuket.
When you get to the airport Phuket you can take a shuttle to the beach or the Phuket town. What kind of tour to you want? |

Thanks for the response Free World!
Does anyone know how much a one-way ticket from BKK to Phuket costs?
Are tickets easy to get? I will arrive in BKK on Sat, Feb. 4th and want to fly to Phuket on Feb. 11th or 12th. |

avoid package tours unless you want to be surrounded by whiny koreans and kimchee breath for the duration of your trip. aren't you going to thailand to get away from that?
after a couple of days in phuket, go to ko phi phi -- a little more romantic and quiet and the best snorkelling in thailand.
bangkok airways offers flights to phuket and samui for around $70 one way. the train is cheaper. |
