A- this belongs in the job forum
B- the quality of a recruiter is basically irrelevant. Once you're at the school they'll disappear anyway. |

Actually, it's Duff Recruiting.
I don't know how many of the teachers I've recruited post on here regularly. You might have better luck finding out information about me on www.efl-law.org the legal website for teachers in Korea (just go to the forums). They know about all the good and bad recruiters in Korea and overseas and can help you out with any contract issues you may have.
Feel free to ask anything you like about me. |

In this case it isn't true..
Mr. Duffy i have known for 4 years and he works hard at trying to get good placements and making sure the teachers are not screwed..
Only 1 month ago one of the teachers he placed was put into a bad apartment and Mr. duffy was on the case to make sure that the teacher was put into a better residence..
When a new teacher comes he tries his best to take them out and give them relevant information about the area, takes them dinner, meets them at the airport, tries to look after all the little things...i am not saying he is a babysitter but he will try to answer any questions and make them feel at home..
I am not trying to talk up the recruiter and of course good situations can turn bad but he is one of the best there would be... |

A- I agree.....
B- I disagree.
A recruiters quality is quite important. A good recruiter (yes there are some out there) will find you a job that is right for you and help you sort out the details while answering your questions. A good recruiter can (again some are good) help you out if you have problems once in country. |
