I've given notice at my job and will be leaving at the end of the month. I'm being helpful by trying to find them a replacement. The reason I'm leaving is because they recently added kindergarten classes, which aren't my cup of tea at all. The job is pretty decent, no hassles from bosses or co-workers.
The pay is 1.8m, 2.0m, or 2.3m a month depending on your qualifications. You are also given 150,000 a month for transport and lunch. You are expected to be there 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. The contract is for 25 classes a week, but currently there are only 16 classes a week. That schedule is fixed until July, after which it will probably change slightly (though class hours probably won't increase.) You would be working for a local government in the south of the country. You will be the only foreigner, and also the only English teacher in the building.
You are given a free reign as to what you want to teach (not set curriculum or books).
Class sizes are about 10-25. The classes are free for local citizens so there aren't any silly issues about having to put up with bad behaviour from children because they're paying for the classes or anything like that.
Of the 16 classes there are 4 kindergarten classes a week, 8 elementary, 2 middle school, and 2 adult.
The apartment is 15pyong approx, 1 bedroom, new furniture and appliances including DVD player, microwave, toaster etc. You can probably get a housing allowance instead if you want, not sure about that.
