Warning-Don't Use Time Machine Travel

I've previously had nothing but good dealings with the guy at Time Machine travel in Gwanghwamun, Seoul. However, I booked a ticket to Jakarta with them around 4 weeks ago and paid for it as I usually do, bank transfer from my Woori Bank account in Cheongju. I then emailed him and informed him that I would be coming to pick up the ticket today, saturday Feb 4, to which he replied "OK, just get there before 1pm". My flight was booked for the sunday, Feb 5, ie tomorrow. Anyhow, when I turned up at 11am, I discovered that the office was locked and the owner nowhere to be found. This is a huge problem, so I called the airline, Korean Air, who informed me that they had record of the booking, but it had subsaquently been cancelled. I then attempted to call the owner, but was redirected to a message bank, which I left several angry messages on. Anyhow, getting no closer to a resolution after an hour, I decided to cut my losses and use the travel service across the hall who booked me on the same flight. However, I am now W730 000 out of pocket and have no means to resolve this until I return in two weeks. Its particularly stressful as my wife has booked accomodation in Jakarta and Bali for our belated honeymoon and I can't change my schedule, hence the hasty booking of the second ticket. Anyhow, please heed this warning and don't use the services of this completely unreliable and unprofessional outfit.

If I don't get satisfaction, he sure will. Don't be surprised if the next time I walk into your store I have his severed head on a stick.

(Disclaimer, for the humouly challenged, I am not serious about this threat of violence)

I've always been against time travel by machines. Those machines are tricky.

BTW, I wonder if he had some kind of emergency.... let us know the end result. It could be a ligit reason for the unreasonable actions.
However,
If his head ends up on a stick, please post!

Anyway,
In my book, if a company has a goofy name, stay away!

Given the title, I thought we were going to get warned about time travel messing up the universe or something bizarre like that.

If it were possible, I'd be jumping a couple of hours ahead of things to get those winning Powerball numbers (180 million + this week) Very Happy

can't they let you pick the ticket up at the airport? do you have to get a hard copy at the travel agent or can they issue you some kind of e-ticket?

Read the thread again pls. This goes for Seoulkitchen too. I called the airline and they told me the booking had been cancelled, despite the fact that I paid money to the agent. This makes me all the more dubious about his absence from the office yesterday.

He wanted to get a head start on the Jakarta/Bali vacation you bought him.
