I'm arriving in Seoul in the 24th of Feb. with my two big suitcases and small carry-on. I'd like to take the two large bags to the train station and have them shipped to Gangnung where I can pick them up on the 27th (so I don't have to lug them around Seoul over the weekend). I've searched Dave's and looked online, but I haven't been able to find out the difficulty, cost, etc. While I was in China we did this frequently and it was no big deal.
Is anyone familiar with shipping on Korean trains? If so, info would be appreciated.
As I'll be taking a bus from Seoul to Gangnung, would it make more sense to store the bags at the Seoul bus terminal and then pick them up when I go there on the 27th? Is there any luggage storage at either the main or east terminal? I didn't think to look for it when I was there in January. Feel free to offer suggestions. |

You can do one better: taekbae / door-to-door delivery service from the airport.
Do a search on the Incheon Int Airport website for more info. It will take a couple of days for your stuff to get to Gangneung and you will need a delivery address, contact phone number and nominate a time for the things to be delivered. It's not very expensive either, and very convenient. |
