I am planning to have a discussion class with advanced students tomorrow in which the students do not use books. We just discuss what they want to talk about instead of some discussion topic out of a book.
Can anyone give me some topics that seem to be interesting to Koreans? I am trying to come up with some topics of my own incase the students don't have many ideas of their own. Any suggestions would be welcome! |

Have then tell you about Korea. Where to go, what do to, what is interesting, what you should see, some history, you get the idea. THis is a great ice breaker and you can always play the dumb tourist. The older they are the better the conversation. You may have to use leading questions to get it started.. and keep it going...but it will work. |

This is the last week of class, so this is not really an ice breaker. I am just doing this because it seems to give the students more opportunities to speak. Furthermore only 4 students will come to the class tomorrow, so I don't really need any group work.
Thanks for the help. |
